ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Authors are requested to strictly follow the format below. Abstracts that do not follow the prescribed format may be returned for correction.
1. Category
- Original Article
- Case Report/Case Series
- Poster Presentation
2. Title
Concise and informative.
3. Author(s)
Full names of all authors.
4. Presenter Name
Clearly identify the presenting author.
5. Affiliation
Department, Institution, City, Country.
6. Email
Valid email address of the presenter/corresponding author.
7. Background/Introduction
Brief background, rationale and objective.
8. Methods
Study design, setting, study population, sample size, inclusion/exclusion criteria, study duration and relevant methodology, as applicable.
9. Results
Present the key findings with relevant numerical or statistical data where appropriate.
10. Conclusion
A clear conclusion based on the study findings.
11. Keywords
Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.
Additional Requirements
- Maximum 300 words, excluding title, authors, affiliations and keywords.
- Use clear scientific language and avoid unnecessary abbreviations.
- Please carefully check spelling, grammar and scientific accuracy.
- For case reports, ensure patient consent and confidentiality where applicable.
- For research involving human participants, mention ethical approval where applicable.
- Declare conflict of interest and funding/support, if applicable.
- Tables, figures and references are not required in the abstract.
IMPORTANT
Accepted abstracts will be considered for publication in the SOL Nepal journal with a DOI. Therefore, authors are requested to strictly adhere to the prescribed format and provide accurate author and affiliation details.

POSTER PRESENTATION
1. Authors are requested to prepare a poster panel within a frame of 150 cm wide X 100 cm high and paper tag to indicate the title and authors ( 130 wide & 20 cm high).
2. Title should be brief informative and readable.
3. Keep the text to minimum, be clear and concise. Hand drawn figures are strongly discouraged.
4. Size of character: clear, distinct description and diagrams in large characters ( Larger than 18*18 mm) should be used on the poster so as to ensure that they are legible from a distance.
5. Table, diagrams and photographs: keep simple; Use colors effectively, legends and labels should be easy to read.
6. Sequence: indicate clearly either by numbers, arrows or lines the order in which the poster is to be read. List conclusion at the end.
7. The poster should be in a form, which can be easily mounted on a display panel.
Posters are particularly suitable for the presentation of complex data. Poster presentations carry the same status as oral presentations and will be subject to the same selection process by the Scientific Committee i.e. by means of written abstracts in English.
